Dear Alumni and Constituents of Electrical Technology,

 

Pittsburg State's Electrical Technology has entered a very exciting era. We recently experienced many changes and updates with more to come in the near future! We invite you to visit us anytime in person to witness these positive transformations. 

 

The overall health of our program is stronger than ever. We are consistently filling our open seats seven to eight months in advance of classes, as well as filling a waiting list. Our job placement record is now a consistent 100%. Our commitment to excellence is evident through continuous facility improvements and curriculum updates to meet the needs of today’s industry, generating enthusiasm and momentum within our program!

 

One area that has room for improvement is scholarship support for our students. These are challenging times for college students, and we would like to relieve some financial pressure allowing them to focus more on their coursework.

  

Over the past few years, several alumni and supporters have inquired how to give back and support our program. With this need and interest in mind, we would like to proudly announce we have started the process of establishing the  Jeff Brooks Electrical Technology Memorial Scholarship. The funds from this scholarship will be available exclusively to students within Electrical Technology.

Jeff Brooks was a pillar for our program, dedicating 40 years to teaching aspiring electricians. This scholarship serves as a tribute to his legacy, ensuring his impact on our trade will be remembered at Pittsburg State University.

We invite you to consider supporting this meaningful endeavor. Any amount is greatly appreciated. Your generosity will make a positive impact on those working towards becoming qualified electricians. The PSU Foundation will issue a receipt for your tax-deductible contribution.
