Pitt State Athletic Director Jim Johnson has organized an adventure with President Dan Shipp – golfing with Gorillas across the Four States! Their goal is to raise $3 million for the Silverback Fund, which supports Pittsburg State student-athletes like Marissa Dick.

Pitt State Women and Men Claim National Crowns
After coming painstakingly close to a national crown indoors, the women's outdoor track & field team emphatically grabbed the 2024 NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championship Saturday, May 25. Three faculty members chosen by students for the 2024 Outstanding Faculty Award were honored with medallions and a luncheon with the Provost, and with recognition in the Commencement program.

Outstanding Seniors and finalists recognized for achievements
Two seniors were chosen for an award that dates back more than 60 years and were recognized with plaques installed in the senior walk on the lawn of Russ Hall: Tucker Jessip, a Business Management major from Frontenac, and Tricia Combs, a Communication and Criminal Justice major from Girard.
