When Keelah Griffith came to Pitt State from Bentonville, Arkansas, as a student-athlete, she had two goals: to be the best softball player she could be and to earn a degree in Sports Management.

Gorilla softball crowned MIAA regular season Co-Champs

The Pittsburg State University softball team swept its way to a program record for victories and the school's second MIAA Regular Season Championship on April 27, leading to a No. 2 seed in the upcoming MIAA Softball Championship (more on the MIAA tournament here).

Pitt State Media Production students capture awards at state broadcasting competition

Nine Pitt State Media Production students led by Communication Professor Troy Comeau, Assistant Professor Barth Cox, and Assistant Instructional Professor Kate Allred won 11 awards in eight categories at this year's Kansas Association of Broadcaster's competition.
